September 30th, 2003 - The Choice...
Ive come to the conclussion that I wont
be buying Soul Calibur 2 (at least not yet), instead
Im gonna use the cash that was intended for SC2
on Max Payne 2, the choice seems more obvious
to me. Oh and speaking of Max Payne 2 (lol mazy.net
is starting to become a Max Payne 2 fansite eh?),
then theres been released a couple of new movies
(as i updated previously), but now you can grab
them over at Shacknews.
You can grab the movies here(100mb),
aand
here(82mb), oh and
here!(20mb) (Note that these are the same
movie packs just in different quality each). Check
my little mans!
September 30th, 2003 - Maxey Stuff
More Max Payne 2 stuff, some new movies,
but its on IGN so meh, but still eh! They show
some really neat physics stuff, and it looks at
least on par with HL2s physics in my opnion. You
can check them here (its the 2 movies
added September 29)
September 29th, 2003 - TIMOR!!!!
This
will own you in ways you didnt think were possible!
Also,
this robber = über pwned!
Oh yah, the Lord Of The Rings: The Return of The
King trailer has been released, Im not really
that excited about it, but it does look quite
good, and it does look like it could end a good
trilogy.....good :)
Anyway,
you can check it here
September 28th, 2003 - Haloing~
Just had a little game with chips in
Halo MP, was quite fun, but when you're only playing
2 players then it tends to get more focused on
normal DM instead of using the vehicles. Still,
was okay fun, needs more players tho.
Oh yah, Im still looking for the perfect set of
textures for my new TS map, ill post more on that
as i get stuff done :)
September 27th, 2003 - Aye aye!
Today is a bit lighter on the news :)
Anyway, Ive completed Halo (again), its a good
game, but not as good as it was when it was all
new and hot.
Oh, and theres little over 2 weeks to Max Payne
2, im really excited about it, cant wait! :D!
September 26th, 2003 - OKAY! LAST UPDATE!
A Trailer for Battlefield Vietnam has
been released, looks very owny! You
can get it here
Oh yah, theres some new Max Payne 2 pics on the
official
Max Payne 2 site (check em under Gallery)
September 26th, 2003 - Halo.jpg
Haha, four updates in one day, must be
a record on mazy.net :D!
Anyway, Ive gotten a hold of Halo for the PC.
If you have never tried the Xbox version then
its a game you have to try, the first time you
play through the game then its very owny. So,
its a good solid game the first time, the bad
thing about Halo however is that the replay value
isnt all that great. The AI is superb, and since
theres no scripted stuff everything feels quite
unique everytime you play again, but most of the
levels are just too damn boring. The fact that
Bungie just reused the same rooms over and over
means that you feel like you're playing the same
area over and over.........and you are! Its not
that Halo is a bad game, its just that you easily
get tired of it, at least in some levels. There
are of course levels that are brilliant, and you
can play these over and over without getting tired
of it, so there is some good stuff in it.
Anyway, concerning the port, then Gearbox did
a pretty good job. It runs pretty good and it
looks quite nice even though the game is over
2 years old. Its one of the only PC games that
actually use bumpmapping even though the technology
is getting very old. One thing that can maybe
annoy some people is that by having the game in
a high resolution means that you notice all the
small jaggy things that you never paid attention
to when you played it on a TV. But still, the
game does look very nice. It looks quite fantastic
when you're flying over the water, and the bumpmapping
gives it a quite funky look.
So, if you havent played Halo on the Xbox then
check it out, if you already played the Xbox version
to death ages ago, then go get Freedom Fighters
instead ;D!~
September 26th, 2003 - Freedom Fought
Just completed Freedom Figthers, really
awesome game, but its a tad too short. I completed
it in around 6-8 hours, which is perhaps a tad
too fast. Still, the ending does leave room for
a sequel so we will probably get some more ownage
in the future :)~
September 26th, 2003 - Revolutions Ownage!
Omaigutness! The Matrix Revolutions theatre
trailer has been released, and where the other
trailers were sorta meh, this one seriously owns,
Revolutions looks like its gonna kick fucking
ass! You
can check it here, and do check it or
you sux ;)
September 26th, 2003 - Maxeeeey
Oh yah, I forgot to mention this, a zip
with all the currently released Max Payne 2 movies
has been released (in hi-res btw), you
can grab it over at Shacknews
September 25th, 2003 - Holay Shiat!
OMG! Ive got my small gritty hands on
Freedom Figthers, and damn, it fucking ownz! The
production values of this game are quite amazing,
the entire feel of the game is really neat, the
graphics, the music, the gameplay, everything
works extremely well. Also, the element of squad
commanding that Freedom Figthers adds is quite
revolutionary, it makes managing your team and
giving orders fun instead of boring, and the AI
is superb so you wont get teammates that get stuck
in a wall like in so many other games. And the
action is sweet, the fact that you can manage
your squad extremely easily also means that you
can have some cover you while the rest of the
team goes in. Its all quite the slick, and since
you dont have any scripted shit then every battle
will almost always have another outcome when you
replay it.
Ive never really been a big fan of the Hitman
games, but this game will without a doubt place
IO Interactive up with the best games companys,
its that good.
Oh yah, theres been released some Matrix Revolution
commercials, you can check them here,
here
aaaand...........here
Anyway, i think ill go play some more Freedom
Figthers now :)~~
September 24th, 2003 - Happy Tree Friends again
:o~
If you remember Happy Tree Friends (i
posted em ages ago) then you'll be happy to know
that there are some new episodes of it. And to
those that dont know what it is, click
here and be owned :)~
Oh, and HL2 has been delayed to somewhere
around christmas..........boy i didnt even see
that one coming [/sarcasm]
September 22nd, 2003 - Yai!
Finally got myself pulled together and
updated the maps section.
Inthere you will now find updated pics from the
retextured version of ts_crystal, pics from ts_kissmeyerbasic
and pics from ns_mazion. Nice stuff :)

Oh yah, Max Payne movies are starting
to be released now, very sexy! Ive uploaded some
of the Gamespot movies since some blokes on IRC
were moaning after them ;D
You can get the Gamespot movies here
and here
(4mb each), and you can find another Max Payne
movie off Shacknews
Oh, and Ive been playing some more Lands
of Lore, neat game indeed ;)~
September 21st, 2003 - Lands of Loreness~
Been playing a bit of Lands of Lore,
very kickass game, and one that Im ashamed that
I havent completed. So Ive picked it up again
and Im gonna complete it :)
Almost forgot how much I love the Westwood colorschemes,
those lovely green colors makes the mazzleheart
shake :D! But anyway, Im gonna complete that now.
September 20th, 2003 - YumYum~
Ive been playing Homeworld2 a bit the
last 2 days, a very nice game, its got a good
feel to it, but i just find the orientation in
the game to be very confusing. You just pan around
and easily lose sense of whats going on. Its a
very fast strategy game, and since i never really
played the original then im not used to it. Oh
well, probably takes a while to get used to.
Also, Ive gotten a hold of Pirates of the Caribbean
DVD Screener. Its funny since its just premiered
here in Denmark, think Ill watch it later :)~~
September 19th, 2003 - Killie Billie Vollie Onie
Trailie......er
Anyway, the Kill
Bill Vol 1 Trailer is out, looks very
pwny, cant wait to see these movies (vol 1+2).
September 18th, 2003 - Lucky Bastard!
I just got home from the military examination
thing, this could have gone horribly wrong, but
instead it made me aware that I do get lucky from
time to time (even though it happens rarely).
So yeah, no military for me, im pretty much happy
beyond words. The entire thing is set up like
this: First you do some brainless tests, watch
some videos from the 80's on the army n' shit,
then you get examined by some cheesy doctor, and
finally you come into a room where you have to
choose if your life will suck or not. You have
this bowl thingy with lots of tiny paper envelopes,
and inside these there is a number. If you get
from 1-12000 you're fucked (aka you have to goto
the army or sumthing like that), if you get from
12000-36000 then you're free, i got 32008 :)
Seems like my life wont suck after all...
September 16th, 2003 - Bak 2 zee Futjar!
Been watching all the Back To The Future
movies in a row (well, almost a row). Even though
the 3rd movie isnt up to the same quality as the
first two movies then its still good, and its
without a doubt one of the best series of movies
ever. Been wanting to see them all for quite a
while now, goodie that i finally got myself pulled
together and saw them again, awesome movies.
Oh, and if you havent noticed, Desert Combat 0.4
is totally pwnz0r!
Oh, and that military crap thingy is on Thursday,
it sux....
September 15th, 2003 - W00T!
Desert Combat 0.4 is out! Its a pretty
heavy duty download if you dont have 0.39 (its
like 550mb), but anyway, its fucking Desert Combat
so who cares? :D!
You
can find yourself a download link here
September 14th, 2003 - Lotsa Stuff
First
off, Desert Combat 0.4 promo movie, very cool
stuff
Then theres some Matrix Revolutions commercials
(really crappy quality tho (both sound and picture),
but you get the idea)
Here
| Uh
Here | Ah
here |
Okay Here | And
here
Oh, and ts_kissmeyerbasic and ts_crystal
are done now (have been for ages, but ive packed
em up now :D), also Beta 5 of ns_mazion is done,
you
can grab it here
September 13th, 2003 - The Return of Cow!
COW
COMIC 2!!!! (Hi-res)
COW
COMIC 2!!!! (Lo-res)
September 13th, 2003 - Maxeeey
Theres been released a mewie (the first
mewie btw) from Max Payne 2. Im really excited
about this game (i loved the first Max Payne,
and this one looks like its gonna be even better!).
Anyway, you
can get the mewie over at IGN (dont worry
you wont have to actually look at the site much
;D)
September 11th, 2003 - Uhhmm flacklecack
Okay, here are some pics from ns_mazion
and ts_kissmeyerbasic
fapfap
Btw, fear
this!
September 11th, 2003 - Oh, here I am!
Sorry for the lack of updates lately,
Ive been pretty busy mapping on ns_mazion_b3,
and if they playtest that is gonna take place
tonight plays as well as I hope it will then Ill
submit it for NS 2.1 testing. The entire map has
been changed ALOT. The entire layout has been
changed, and most areas are new, with the exceptions
of a couple of corridors, hives and marine spawn.
I'll prolly post some new pics from it later today
(when I get my ass pulled together :D).
Anyway, I'll be updating on more frequent level
now.
Oh, and check
this weird shit out :)
September 5th, 2003 - Disturbance in the Balance...
Ive been working pretty much nonstop
(except for the compiles) the last couple of days,
and it looks like ill do it again the next couple
of days. My NS map is being changed alot, and
Im gonna make some very radical changes (totally
change the map actually) in the next version,
it will probably take a day or two before i got
that one ready. Anyway, mapping is going pretty
good, but some other things have come up that
annoys me alot.
Ive got a letter from the military, and Ive got
to go to the examination shit on September 18th,
VERY annoying. I had hoped they had forgotten
old mazzlezburgh, but it seems that it was not
to be. Other shit, my bank account is fucky online,
so I have to call the bank and get it sorted out,
but Im really slow when it comes to dealing with
banks, so it will probably take a couple of months
before i get that worked out D:. And yet another
things that pisses me off, my Gamespot Complete
account has run out, so i cant use it like i used
to. Its amazing how much i use Gamespot, i first
really notice that when its gone *sigh*
Bah, Ill probably not update the site until the
next version of the map is done (and btw,
the new versions of the map have very sexy lighting),
so Ill work hard on it.....its the only things
that can cheer me up right now :(~
September 3rd, 2003 - Mazion
Im pretty much done with the map now,
I only need to compile it one more time to fix
the lighting in a few areas, but apart from that
then im ready to compile the final of the beta
:). You can
check some pics in the topic Ive made
on the NS forums.
I'll most likely have a beta out later today
September 1st, 2003 - Light at the end of the
tunnel...yadayada
Its amazing, a few days ago when I started
on my completion of my NS map (still need a name
D:!) I thought it would take around a week, if
not more, but im already done!....well, the map
is done, i still need to fix shitloads of shit,
but still, it is pretty much done now, and Ive
even made some layout adjustments that should
make it play alot better than i had first planned.
Anyway, if it keeps going at this rate then ill
have the map out for dl within a few days :)~
September 1st, 2003 - Nintendo Musicage!
Some lads on IRC posted this site with
orchestrated versions of fameous Nintendo themes.
These REALLY kick ass if you know the old
version of the themes, but even if you dont they
are still kickass. Check
them here
August 30th, 2003 - One Month....
Yeeeah, 1 freaking month left to Half-Life
2 goodieness. Theres been alot of things going
back and forth with Vivendi and Valve and shit,
but Valve says that the game will be out on September
30th, so lets hope they can keep their promise.
Ive also been thinking about how it will run on
this computer. With recent games such as Republic
(which i thought would totally flak my computer
up and make it explode) that ran very well with
lots of details then Im starting to think that
this computer might be able to pull it off very
nicely. Maybe not full detail, the highest res
and all the special kinky effects, but as i see
it i will able to play it and enjoy the visual
side, and thats what its all about. Dammit I cant
wait!
Oh, and Ive mapped a bit on my NS map, the map
is around 95% done now. The latest brushwork is
really nasty tho, since i gotta keep it down to
a minimum, anyway, fapfap.
August 30th, 2003 - Moo~
Ive decided to get my NS map finished
now. I have come to the conclusion that if I dont
finish it off now, then Im never gonna finish
it and then months of work will have gone to waste.
The main problem with my NS map (the stuff that
is giving me an headache :D), is that Ive pretty
much used up all the "buildspace" that
Half-Life has to offer, and in order to exceed
this I have to use a sort of experimental compiling
tool, but at this time I dont really care, I just
want it done. So Ill work hard on finishing now.
Oh, and that Call of Duty demo was quite cool
actually, BUT it feels too much like MOHAA, and
considering that it isnt EA or something, then
I would classify it as an MOHAA ripoff. But still,
it does work better than MOHAA, the action is
better, so all in all a pretty good game, and
one that ill check out when its released. You
can get the demo on all gaming download sites
n' shit
August 29th, 2003 - Curbied :)~~
Ive got all the episodes that has been
made so far of Curb Your Enthusiasm now! Very
pwny, I really hope this series will go on for
a while, cuz its really pwny, in many ways better
than Seinfeld, its really good, and i urge everybody
that has some P2P program to try and download
some episodes.
Oh yah, there was something about Activision fucking
up some PR stuff with Call Of Duty (yet another
WW2 game) by only releasing it on some specific
sites, but the gaming community pushed back, and
now Activision got assraped and are gonna release
the demo all over the place today, very sad. But
the game doesnt look too bad so it might be worth
downloading :)~
Oh, and when Im on the topic of WW2, a Commandos
3 demo has been released, and to put it simply,
Im extremely disapointed. Commandos 2 was so awesome,
and this new game is totally crap. They really
fucked it up, if they had continued in the direction
that Commandos 2 was heading that it would be
amazing game, but instead they fuck up the controls
and the difficulty. Now its fucking easy, and
you can just fly through the missions in 10min,
its a fucking disgrace to the Commandos series,
and its sad to see a once good game series get
this shitty. Thankfully Commandos 2 is still as
pwny as ever :)~~
August 28th, 2003 - Republicing :)
Ive been playing quite a bit of Republic.
At first I was a tad sceptical about the game,
the learning curve of the game is very steep,
and it takes around an hour to figure out what
the hell you're supposed to do. The entire feel
of the game is also sorta complex, since you have
to pay attention to every little detail, and be
very concentrated on what you're doing. But, when
you start to get the hang of the game it is quite
extraordinary. The gameplay, while being very
original, reminds me alot of Gangsters: Organized
Crime. But where Gangsters just ran out of control,
Republic seems to stay on track. Also, visuallly
it is very impressive. Its got very detailed buildings
with really detailed and cool looking shadows
changing as the day goes on, and it even runs
great on my old computer, very impressive. And
the sound is cool too, although the voice acting
(they are talking some Eastern Europe wannabe
language which gets a tad annoying after a while)
gets a little tiresome, the rest of the sound
is topnoch, especially the music.
So, all in all a really nice game, I prolly need
to play it some more to completely understand
it, but it is very innovative and certainly worth
a shot for all strategy hungry gamers :)~
Oh, Soul Calibur 2 is coming here (Europe) in
one month (25th September D:!), so no piepie for
Mazzletops D:
August 26th, 2003 - The problem is choice...
This is really annoying, Im thinking
about buying Soul Calibur 2 (im a big Soul Calibur
fan btw), but I seriously cant decide what version
to get. This would be alot easier if I didnt have
all the systems (Iceduck has the Xbox, but hes
prolly handing that over soon anyway, since hes
getting a DVD player). I started off thinking
that the GameCube version was sorta like IT (since
you get Link from Zelda as an extra character),
but the thing is that I only got 1 controller
for the GameCube, and apparently the Xbox version
should be the best looking one, but Ive got 2
controllers for the PS2, so that would be ideal
for 2 player mode thingy. Oh damn, the choices...
Oh, and Ive gotten my small gritty paws on Tony
Hawk Pro Skater 4 for the PC, very snatchy. At
first it looked all crap, but then i turned off
the fog and now it looks pretty cool. Of course
the gameplay is kewlbeanz too, but Ive sorta gotten
a tad tired of the THPS gameplay. Still, a good
game.
August 25th, 2003 - O Yah~
I forgot to mention this earlier, Ive
got some pics from the retextured version of ts_crystal,
you
can check them here.
Oh, and check
this out! ARNIE R00LZ!!!
August 24th, 2003 - Demolitionmazzle!
Ive been playing a demo of Silent Storm
quite a bit, its very entertaining actually, since
you can blow up like buildings and shit. Nothing
more satisfying than blowing up a wall with an
unsuspecting german (its a WW2 game) standing
there, and then riddling him with bullets (¦)~
The entire feel of the game is very nicely done,
maybe i should mention that its a strategy game,
that sorta shift between realtime and turnbased
(combat is turnbased), and considering that im
not as big a fan of these sort of games as used
to, then its very cool indeed.
You
can get the demo here (you need to register
an account here, but if you dont wanna do that
then find ur own dl place D:!)
Oh yah, i got a hold on Finding Nemo
and XMen2 DVD rips, both awesome mewies :)
August 21st, 2003 - Fnafle
Okay, Ive got my computer and running
again (even though its running like fucking crap
in HL (but its running fine in stuff like BF1942)....).
Anyway, Im running my C: drive on an old 40gb
hd that isnt all that fast, so I might buy a new
hd (once again) to get everything running a tad
faster, very annoying, but as long as i can actually
use the computer im glad. Anyway.
Ive been playing alot of MGS2 while the computer
was fucked (finally completed the plant on hard).
Playing this made me get the perfect idea for
a new map, ill prolly have some new stuff to show
soon (if something doesnt fuck up again), its
a really cool concept, and I hope i can have it
done before HL2 hits the shores. Anyway, werd!
Oh yah, Curb Your Enthusiasm r0x0rz ur b0x0rz!
August 18th, 2003 - Fuck I hate computers....
A short update, my computer is totally
screwed, its running really slow in Windows and
when loading games and shit, yet it plays stuff
like 3Dmark without any problems. At first i thought
it was the CPU that was fucked, or maybe the CPU
fan, but im not so sure anymore. The harddisk
(the old 60gb) is acting weird too, its constantly
loading on the harddisk when im not doing anything
at all (and i mean ALL the fucking time, and its
like really much loading, fucking annoying!),
that might be it too but im not sure. Its all
fucked to say the least, its running like crap
and i feel that every moment i got it turned on
is making it more fucked up. I'll try and fiddle
but dont expect to see me online until ive fixed
it. Crei!
August 16th, 2003 - Blimey!
The internet (on my computer, all computers
in this house for that matter), has been extremely
slow, so I havent really been online. My theory
is that its a combination of the power outage
in America, especially New York, since its a directing
point for the connections, and its probably also
my ISP thats been fucking, plus that stupid Blast
virus. Anyway, the internet is working okay now,
not fucking fast, not fucking slow, just fucking
okay.
I finally got my virus checker updated (after
like being too lazy to do so for like 6 months).
Anyway, i got it checked, and its fiddiling. Main
reason is because i heard constant activity on
the harddisk, even though i had taken out the
internet plug, and was doing nothing (and nobody
were getting files or anything on my computer).
Anyway, it seems like its been fixed now, so im
more calm.
Oh yah, some more positive shit, me and Iceduck
has been watching alot of Curb
your Enthusiasm lately. If you have no
idea what Im talking about, then its basically
a show by Larry David (he also plays himself in
it, as the lead role), co-creator of Seinfeld,
and pretty much the person that Georges character
(in Seinfeld) is based on. Its a bit different
from Seinfeld, it doesnt have such a constant
pleasant mood as in Seinfeld, but its more focused
on the embarresing things. Anyway, its alot of
fun, so check out Kazaa or something like that
for it.
August 12th, 2003 - Faploaded!
I got my small gritty hands on a DVD
rip of Matrix Reloaded, really nice quality, you
wont get it better on a DVD i tell ya ;). Even
though the DVD will be released in October I'd
rather wait and get the boxset (bst boxset EVR!),
which shouldnt be that far away considering how
fast Reloaded is coming out.
Oh yah, ive dug up No One Lives Forever 2 again,
I only completed this one once, and considering
the quality of this game then its a damn shame
(it is one of the best games of 2002, if not to
say the best). So Ill flapple that up, and besides,
I need some inspiration for some new map (Ive
put my NS map on hold, Ive lost interest for NS
at the moment, so I think its better that a wait
until im more motivated for that sorta stuff).
Oh yah, I wont be releasing a beta of ts_kissmeyerbasic,
sorry D:
August 9th, 2003 - RGR!
Just some links :)
LOOK
AT TEH RED MONKEY!
Some
fucking drug moron that went berserk
Headless chicken that like lived
August 8th, 2003 - TEH HUMANITY!
This is great, I was sitting, fiddling
with some textures, and i suddenly noticed that
in the left part of the keyboard a spider was
crawling around. I dont know what I was thinking,
but the fucking fool I am I let the spider crawl
into my keyboard. Then, realizing that spiders
in keyboards arent the best thing ever, I started
trying to get it out. I took some toilet paper
and waited patiently for it to get out, but when
it finally did I ripped off a couple of its legs,
and it slid down into the keyboard again, now
unable to get up by itself. Therefore I became
desperate, and called for drastic measures, and
brought in the heavy artillery: The vacuum cleaner!
As I noticed the bastard was having a beauty sleep
under my delete key, I put the vacuum cleaner
on full power, and tried sucking the bugger out,
but all it did was making its small legs flapper
up in the air, furthermore making it unable to
get up. So here I am, with a dead spider somewhere
in my keyboard. I have thought about trying to
take off every key, starting from one end, but
i doubt Ill overcome my laziness, besides, i think
i already squashed it a couple of lines back D:
Oh the humanity!
Btw, ts_kissmeyerbasic is done, beta/release stuff
soon :)
August 8th, 2003 - XIII! AIIIE!
A demo of XIII has been released! This
is a quite kewl game. If you dont know what it
is, then its a celshaded first person shooter.
The entire feel of the game is really cool, like
small windows flash up on the screen when something
happens, and explosions have "BANG!"
bubbles appear. Very funky indeed. You can get
it here
and here
(these places r pretty goy, but meh :o)
August 7th, 2003 - Kissmeyer Basic
I posted some pics from my new TS map,
ts_kissmeyerbasic, over at the TS forums, you
can check em here.
August 5th, 2003 - BETTAR!
Well, Ive gotten over my sickness, and
Im feeling all nice and dandy (okay mebbe not
dandy, more like flappy). Anyway, Ive completed
Conker (again), amazing game, something everybody
should try at least once.
Oh yah, GTA
Vice City Multiplayer stuff has been released,
I had a quick go in it, and its pretty crappy.
You have no idea about when you kill somebody,
and its all laggy. The idea is nice but it just
doesnt work very well. It probably needs some
more releases to get better.
Oh yah, my new TS map is going good too, it shouldnt
be too far away from being done, and ill post
some pics soon, so stay tuned ;)
August 2nd, 2003 - Feeling Bettar
I starting to feel better now, Ive also
been on IRC so thats probably a sign of being
well :)
Anyway, Ive been playing a bit of NS 2.0, its
good, but its not like i needed to download it
to know that, some good new maps there too.
Oh yah, after Eddd posted a pic from Perfect Dark
in IRC I suddenly got the urge to play some N64
games, so I downloaded some games and a emulator
(being too lazy to hook up my own N64 :D). Currently
Im playing Conkers Bad Fur Day, this is without
a doubt one of the best games in gaming history
imo, the people on Rare are geniuses! If not for
the cool game, then for the great humor, if I
had to work on a game this would be the kinda
stuff I wanted to do :D!
Its also one of the games that Ive been wanting
to complete again for quite a while, but finally
I got myself pulled together to get it.
July 31st, 2003 - Crei
Gah, Im sick (again), so I wont be online
until Im feeling better. This fucking noisy computer
is killing my ears, it feels like the sound is
being intensified like 10 times in this condition,
anyway, Im feeling alot better than I did yesterday.
Oh yah, Natrual
Selection 2.0 is coming out today, check
later (i guess).
July 29th, 2003 - Just checkin...
Just wanted to inform that Im making
a new map for TS. Its gonna have a very clean
and neat look to it (its like office stuff, you
know D:). Anyway, progress on this one is going
pretty fast, so I should have some pics within
the next couple of days.
Oh, and Im probably gonna release some new pics
from my NS map soon too, Im currently sorta putting
it on hold tho :)
July 26th, 2003 - Crystal Sunrise Reloaded
Aye, the TS version of de_crystal is
done! Ive made ALOT of improvements to make this
play better in TS, and it really does play quite
well. I'll pop up a download link soon, but I
want to test this final version one more time
before I post anything, but until then, here are
sum pics :)
Update: Heres
the download link :)
Edit: Pics
in the mapspot
As you can see the biggest change is
the main part of the village, where a building
simply has been removed. Apart from that the map
has been optimized for the TS gameplay, by having
ALOT of holes in buildings so you can dive out
and look cool ;).
After a couple of playtests I can say that it
plays near perfect of what I wanted it to, so
Ill be releasing it later today, unless any unnoticed
bugs show up, stay tuned ;D.
July 25th, 2003 - Terminated......aye......no
Well, just came back from watching Terminator
3 with Iceduck and Pingu, and well, it was actually
quite pwny. The action was pretty good, it did
what it had to do (you know, PUSH THE TEMPO!),
and all the explosions were nice too. One thing
I think they did really good was making the movie
a bit more relaxed, well, making it more funny
instead of just shootings every 2nd minute. Arnie
for example has loads of laughable comments, which
really peps up what could have been a complete
failure. The innovation on the old movies is good,
I really liked it. Im not saying it was an amazing
movie, it was and is a simple action movie, but
its transformed itself into something more than
the maybe more dark prequels. And speaking about
the Terminator series, then the ending points
towards a pretty pwny 4th movie. If you dont like
the action, then the cheesy arnie remarks will
certainly make it worth watching.
Oh, btw, Ive started a new map, dedicated to TS.
Its gonna be a very clean map (im making a lobby
too........sadly). I'll post stuff when I got
stuff to post :D!
July 21st, 2003 - HENHENHENHEN!
Just wanted to update about The
Specialists 2.0 being released, that is
all.
July 20th, 2003 - Dodgie, rogie!
Hey thar, my sister and her husband are
flying back to San Diego now, its sorta sad to
see them go, but its been fun :)
Anyway, Ive been playing ALOT of Gran Turismo
3 lately, Ive just been urging for some hardcore
racing, and finally I got my fix again (Ive been
too lazy to plug in the PS2 D:!). Im all flapping
around in my Corvettes~
In other news, Ive decided to convert de_crystal
into a TS (The Specialists) map, Im actually already
done, but Im waiting until 2.0 has been released
so I can flapple some more with zee entitys, more
on that soon (2 pics here, 1
and 2)
Oh yah, and at last but certainly not
at least, Ekaj, a #georf hangouter, is done with
his NS map, ns_mineshaft, and the NS folks released
a movie from the new NS maps. Even though the
other maps look good too, then Ekajs map is by
far the best looking and the ambience of this
map looks absoultely incredible. I usually dont
post stuff about other peoples maps, but this
one really impressed me.
I'll post a couple of places where you can get
the movie: Here,
Har,
Ovar
har!, and
here (this should be enuff ;D)
Oh yah, btw, Im still working on my NS map, its
a shame that some of the new maps have something
that looks like a cafeteria, I wanted the cafeteria
im adding to my NS map to be original......oh
well ;)
Werd out~
July 17th, 2003 - Flapflap~
I havent been updating the site the last
couple of days, Ive been sorta busy and sorta
lazy...a mix of those. Anyway, last Tuesday I
went to Tivoli (danish amusement part, the only
sort of proper danish amusement part) with my
parents, Iceduck, my sister n my brother-in-law.
Was pretty fun, especially since its been ages
since Ive last visited Tivoli. But its not like
I was itching to try it again, anyway, pretty
fun :)
In other news, hi-quality HL2 movies have been
released on Steam, consult your favourite gaming
site for more news, or you can just download
the movies from Gamespot if you got Gamespot
Complete :)
Ive also been playing alot of Thief2,
its really great to finally be able to play the
game the way its supposed to be played (with movies,
I used to have a warez version without hte movies).
Brilliant game, cant wait to get my hands on Thief3
in the end of this year.
July 14th, 2003 - Sneaky mazzle!
I bought Thief 2 and Warcraft 3 today
:D! Ive been wanting to buy both these games for
ages (I have fulldemos of both, but never got
to buy the real things). Its good to finally have
them. Also, Ive started playing Thief 2 again
now, really amazing game. Even though the graphics
has aged ALOT, then its still a kickass game.
Playing this only makes me even more excited about
Thief 3, dammit I cant wait! :D!~
Oh yah, Ive also been playing alot of RTCW: Enemy
Territory lately, it still kicks ass with no end
in sight! ;D!
And Im doing pretty good progress on my NS map,
its starting to look finished ;)
July 13th, 2003 - Uhnahkruhnoks?!
I checked out (as I usually do every
15min) Gamespot and found something quite interesting....stuff
from Anachronox. If you dont remember this game,
then let me give you the short history: Its an
Ion Storm, Its Tom Halls game (Romero made Daikatana[sucked
beyond the human imagination], Spector made Deus
Ex[one of the bst games evr]). Even though the
companys reputation was getting some hits after
Daikatana, then Tom Hall still managed to pull
out a pretty good game, sadly I never really got
to play the full game, I only checked the demo
and was pretty pleased from what I saw.
Anyway..
Some fella captured all the cutscenes and some
gameplay moments of the game, to produce what
could easily have been a movie. Its around 1.1gb
total, and its spread into 13 movies. Anyway,
Ive checked almost all of the movies, and its
quite ownage how they used the Quake2 engine.
It really looks amazing, especially the way the
camera flies around, it has a really brilliant
movie feel to it that I havent really seen in
any other games apart from stuff like Metal Gear
Solid. Anyway, you
can download it here, and here is the
Gamespot
gamespace
July 10th, 2003 - HAAAAR?
Check
this foo, pretty kewl actually :D
July 9th, 2003 - WHERES TEH LIGHT?!??!
I donno what rock Ive been living under,
but Ive totally forgotten to check out for Thief
3 movies, and when I did, DAMN I WUS OWNED! Some
really amazing lighting effects and physics, and
the entire ambience of the game feels perfect!
It looks like how Thief should and shall look.
Anyway, you
can find some movies on this site (to
the right in the Latest Download thingy).
Note that some of them got some annoying
german people talking, but thankfully theres not
too much sound from the actual game, so you can
turn it down to avoid these pests.
July 7th, 2003 - YAY! WELLNESS!
Just wanted to inform that im feeling
better now (SICKNESS GONE(Almost)!!!). Sooooo....yeah!
Oh, and check
this out, you can dl loads of "Amiganish"
music there, really kewl, i dig teh amiganess!
Oh, and Ive been playing a bit of Star Trek: Elite
Force 2, pretty good game actually, some lame
leveldesign tho, and the general feeling of the
game is sorta........i donno, it just doesnt feel
right. But perhaps you have to be a Star Trek
fan to really like it, but overall its an okay
game. Just annoying with all them energi weapons
only :(
AND DONT COPY THAT FLOPPY!!!!
July 5th, 2003 - DONT COPY THAT FUCKING FLOPPY!
This
will own you for a couple of decades......yes
July 5th, 2003 - Sickie ;(
Im sick at the moment (ive got a cold,
im not talking about mentally sick D:), so im
sorta flopped. But Im feeling alot better than
how I was yesterday, so thats nice. Anyway, Im
playing alot of Raven Shield again, really a great
game. Ive been having this idea about a WW2 game,
that has the elements of a SWAT game. It should
be like extremely realistic (not like in MOHAA
where you can fall down from like 1000 meters,
or DOD where you can get shot 10 times). I mean,
1 shot freakkin kills! Anyway, Ill flapple :)~
July 4th, 2003 - SHIT!
This
fucking ownz you! BST EVR!
July 3rd, 2003 - Wjat Ang0lz!?
I went the movies today to see Charlies
Angles 2 with Iceduck (my bro), Sidse (my sis)
and Horacio (my sis' husband). It was pretty funny
(the situation), because everybody but me thought
it totally sucked like 100%. Its not that I thought
it was a masterpiece, it was really "holey",
it didnt really have any story at all, and most
of the jokes were sorta lame. But I think they
were expecting more that I did. I obviously chose
the wrong people to see it with. I knew it was
just action+chicks+stupid stuff. The action was
really cool, some nice special effects too, but
sometimes it got sorta too far, and the fact that
they pushed it so far made it loose the grip,
but still, good action. Anyway, it was actually
the sort of movie that I was thinking about just
dling as DivX, but still, i thought it was an
okay and entertaining movie, unlike others :o
Oh yah, Ive also worked on my NS map today. Im
starting to sorta repeat myself in the stuff I
do, but still, its coming around pretty nicely.
Its like 80% done now, only need to add 2 hives
and connect them.
Anyway, flapple flopple flipple!
July 2nd, 2003 - YAS!
Thought
Id post this :D
Oh yah, I was bored and I
made this ;D!
July 1st, 2003 - YOSH!
Just
thought Id post this :)
WINNAR!!!!
June 30th, 2003 - LEMONADE?
Btw, forgot to mention that Im hooked
on a new game called Lemonade Tycoon, its really
cool. As you might have guessed, its about selling
lemonade, and making lemonade. It might sound
sorta boring, but its really quite addictive.
Heres
a pic from it :)
/me flapples
June 29th, 2003 - Wind Wanked!
Just wanted to say that I completed Zelda:
Wind Waker (actually I did that yesterday). Great
game, I know many people dislike the celshaded
graphics, but I totally dig em, BST EVR! Also,
besides the gameplay being extremely entertaining,
this is one of the games that has actually taken
me quite a while to complete. I havent really
been playing it very much, but the general length
of games these days are so short that this one
made an impression on me. Overall brilliant game,
a must have if you got a cube or even if you dont
;)
Oh yah, my sister and her husband are coming to
Denmark tomorrow! Pretty cool, havent seen them
since X-Mas, and my sister havent been in Denmark
for years now (since she didnt get her citizenship
thingy until recently), anyway, kewl things are
happening ;D
June 27th, 2003 - YO WUT BE UP YO!?
The last couple of days have been truely
terrifying....my computer didnt work! The thing
was, that I was trying to activate Windows XP
(i had installed Service Pack 1 to get my harddisk
up and running, and therefore i had to activate
it again), please note that i had a illigal/fulldemo
of Windows XP, so i had to use illigal ways to
get it activated. So i used a crack that should
do the trick, but instead if FUCKED UP my computer
like a nightmare. So, after loads of problems
i finally got Windows XP installed again, but
this time i decided to buy Windows (i mean ffs,
you use the bloody OS pretty much), so i did,
and now everything is working swell with my legal
cdkey (¦)~
Oh yah, i got Advance Wars 2, brilliant game,
even better than the first game (although pretty
much the same). If you got a GBA/Emulator, get
it now! (Btw, the fact that i had Advance Wars
2 for my GBA during these tight days made it more
liveable ;D)
Oh, and ive gotten pretty far in Zelda: Wind Waker
too (GOT 7 TRIFORCE SHARDS!)
YAY!
June 19th, 2003 - VERY GOO!
This commercial with Sean Connery totally
crack me up, so I thought id poster it here ;D
CHECK
IT FOO!
Oh yah, started playing Black & White
again, its the kind of game that I never really
got 100% involved in, so I thought id give it
another shot, and it feels alot cooler when you
got more time and can cool down :)
Oh, and a new Desert Combat "Alpha"
has been released, check
it
June 16th, 2003 - HAAAAROOOO VIEEETNAAAM!
OMG! I DID IT! IM DONE WIFF SKEWL!!!!!
EVRRRRRR!!!!!! OMG! I EVEN FUCKING PASSED RELIGION!!!!
I R00L!!!! :D!
/me flaps around
Btw, check
out this kewl vietfuckingnam mod out,
its pretty pwny, and since ive been watching Full
Metal Jacket and Apocalypse now recently they
r like "OMG ÜBER!" so plz! Hail!
June 14th, 2003 - UNF!.......GEEEOOORF!!!!!
I got my exams from the written exams
yesterday, I did good in them! It seems like my
luck is changing :) Anyway, I got my last exam
on Monday, its Religion, and I havent really paid
that much attention to it, but Im gonna work hard
this weekend to be able to make it. I can pass
if i get the next lowest grade (5 :o), so Im pretty
sure that ill make it, but still, gotta work for
it! :D
Oh yah, I got my new Harddisk yesterday, I bought
a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 160gb, 7200rpm, ATA133
with 8mb cache, pretty kewlbeanz! :D So now I
can download all the stuff I want, no more limitations
baby!!! Ill update on Monday and let you know
how I did ;)
June 12th, 2003 - w00t!
I had my history exam today! I did good!
At last, in all my other exams ive been absurdly
unfortunate in the stuff i got, but in the history
exam I finally got lucky. Anyway, good to finally
get some good grades :)~~
Oh yah, im prolly gonna buy a new harddisk tomorrow,
bst evr!
June 10th, 2003 - Tralalalala
Yay, I passed my danish exam that I thought
would be impossible! Well, I didnt really think
it was impossible, it was just that when during
the exam I got this really lame text and stuff
and.......uhhh, bah, nm. Went okay.
In other news, Im planning on buying a new harddisk
(i got around 600mb left on my current ones, and
I cant be bothered to delete!). Problem is that
I dont know if my motherboard will support a 180gb
harddisk (which im planning on buying). The harddisk
is IDE100, and my motherboard supports IDE100,
but im not too sure that i can use the entire
180gb and not fuck up. Hmmm, anyway, if you know
anything about this sorta stuff then please, by
all means email
me ;)
June 4th, 2003 - :G
Here
some new shit Ive made in 3dmax :)
Oh, and I flunked my exam today, über
analse D:
June 2nd, 2003 - So, its June :o
Aye, still got loads of exams left, so
its not happy time for mazzlebuns :(
Anyway, in the time that I have had Ive fiddled
a bit with 3dmax, this
is what came out of it. Anyway, gonna
flap around now :)
May 30th, 2003 - Tralalala RTCW!
That Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy
Territory thing has been released, and its pretty
damn nifty actually. Its the thing that was supposed
to be an addon that you had to buy for RTCW, but
somewhere in the development of it, it turned
into a free standalone game you can download for
free! Very cool :)
Anyway, if you liked RTCW multiplayer you'll love
ET, its got some very cool maps and in my opinion
improved gameplay. So check it out, its only like
287mb :)
You can get it at Gayplan....uhhh, Fileplanet
May 25th, 2003 - EVER? YES!
Been watching Reloaded 2 times again
(a cammed version tho, but still pretty good).
Its amazing how brilliant this movie is, it sets
off so incredibly many thoughts, that you feel
completely overwhelmed by it. Its amazing how
a movie can do this to you, you become creative
on a completely different level, trying to find
a solution to a problem that will be answered
in the last movie. Awesome movie.
And another thing, Ive been playing (apart from
reading for my exams of course) quite a bit of
Rise of Nations. A really awesome game. If you
have absolutely no idea what Im talking about,
then allow me to explain. The concept of Rise
of Nations is simple, take Civilization and mix
it with realtime gameplay of Age of Empires. What
do you then have? A real time Civilization, a
brilliant idea which Ive had since I tried my
first RTS, but still, great to have one. It works
extremely well, the gameplay is flawless. The
only really things that could be better are the
graphics and the sound, but having that said,
it is still a really nice game allround.
/me flaps around
May 24th, 2003 - Reloaded
So yeah, Ive finally seen it, so how
is it? My opinion: BST FCKN MEWIE EVR!!! It is
the kinda movie that really makes you think about
everything afterwards. The funny thing is that
the action stuff wasnt really the stuff that impressed
the most, it was the story, and the complexity
of the story that i found most striking about
Reloaded. Thats not to say that the action wasnt
impressive, I would be lying if I said that they
wernt impressive, some of the best action scenes
ever made.
The problem is that I cant really explain the
genius of Reloaded without spoiling it, but it
seriously changes the entire way you think about
the Matrix universe, and the entire way you used
to think about it until you're seen Reloaded.
Once you have seen it you'll know what I mean,
its an amazing movie, without a doubt one of the
best ever made in my opinion, a must see!
May 22nd, 2003 - UNF!
Well, I had my first oral exam today,
went pretty good actually. Maybe I should explain
the grade system we use here in Denmark. It goes
from 00 to 13, 13 being the best. I got an 10,
so thats pretty cool. However, this is probably
also the only exam that I had any hope in, but
lets just hope I can pull of some mazzleflips
in the next couple of exams :)
Oh yah, 2 days until Im going to see Matrix Reloaded,
cant wait! And speaking of Matrix, I checked out
AniMatrix (all 9 of them), very kickass, some
really superb animation.
May 19th, 2003 - Aye~
So, E3 has come and gone, aye. But in
my opinion it felt kinda tame after the movies
of Half-Life 2 got out, everything else was sorta
tame compared to HL2.....hmmm, anyway, pretty
good E3, HL2ness :)
Oh yah, 5 days until ill see Matrix Reloaded,
cant fucking wait!
Oh, and i got an English exam on Thursday, not
a big deal though, this exam is the one that im
least worried about, anyway, nuff talk :)
Oh and here are some pics from my NS map, thought
id post them here :)
1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
7.
The map is around 70% done now :)
Oh.......just wanted to say Oh one more
time :)
May 15th, 2003 - Okay okay okay
Okay, Im so fucking owned! I just checked
the Half-Life 2 movies on Gamespot and DAMN, fuck
it looks fucking amazing! Unfortunatly you need
a Gamespot Complete account to see these movies,
but they will probably come other places soon,
damn i need this game!
May 15th, 2003 - E3
So yeah, theres not long until it sets
off, already theres been released loads of movies
and pics from alot of games, and it would take
me far too long to post them here, so ill keep
that to yourself, just keep yourself updated on
Gamespot
and Shacknews
or wutevr :). Damn it feels good that its finally
E3 time again, lets hope there are some mindblowing
surprises lying around and waiting ;)
May 13th, 2003 - Archiving...
Ive started archiving the news since
it was getting a tad long, so if you want to check
some of the old news just click the archive link
at the bottom of the main page :)~
May 12th, 2003 - Movieness
Went to see 25th Hour today, good movie,
Edward Norton be the untamedness! And speaking
of untamed, I saw Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
yesterday, really silly movie, but loads of fun.
Jonhhy Depp = mst untamed person on earth! :D!~bstevr~
Oh yah, went to get tickets for Reloaded, the
time is nearing for Mazzlebuns to see it!! On
the 24th that is!
And btw, Ive gotten a hold of Vice City for the
PC, nice to play it in a nice high resolution
:)~
May 8th, 2003 - BMWness~
Check
these cool movies, i pet them, so should
you ;)
May 7th, 2003 - Animatrix~
Just wanna update with the news that
the new Animatrix is out, check
it here.
May 6th, 2003 - NUDITY!!! FEDERAL OFFENSE!!!!
HAAAAAAI!!!!~(wtf)
Today was my last day of school (if you
wanna call what we did today was school that is)
but anyway, last day of school, aye. Well, theres
this tradition where the classes that are done
with the schoolness do a little show, you know.
Well, as it was ending and as everything looked
like it was normal....SUDDENLY, Reolged, Petey
boy, me main man, flapped into the room NAKED!
The thing that was especially funny about this
was that i had been looking for him the entire
day, and when i finally found him it was with
his very classy entrance ;). By the way, you should
keep in mind that he was drunk beyond all and
every sense. But still, classy ;D gj
Oh yah, btw, my exams are starting now, i got
my written Danish exam tomorrow, and my written
English exam on Friday, so......yeah D:
May 5th, 2003 - Reloadedness! AYE AYE!
OMG! I got tickets for Matrix Reloaded!
:D! So pwny, I got them for Saturday 24th (im
not like totally far behind from other people,
the movie premieres in Denmark on May 21st, not
May 15th like in the rest of zee world D:). Im
so fucking excited! The reason to why Ive gotten
tickets for the weekend is due to the fact that
ive got some exams in that week, and i'd rather
see it in a calm weekend ;). OMG! I CANT W8Z0R!!!!~!
Btw, Ive been playing loads of Zelda, BST FCKN
EVR!!!! Really awesome game, gets better the more
you play it :D!~
May 3rd, 2003 - Zeldaness!
OMG! OMG! OMG! I bought Zelda: The Wind
Waker today! BST FCKN GAME EVR! The graphics are
fucking sweet, they are simple yet it looks fucking
smashing. Sound is cool too, no voice acting but
it doesnt really bug me that much, reading wont
kill you ;). And the gameplay of course is über
pwnage! But i havent really played it that much
yet, so plz! Anyway, ill go play now ;)~~
Oh
yah, i made this, im very proud!
May 2nd, 2003 - X-Pwned~~
Just came back from the movies where
I saw X-Men2 with Iceduck and Pingu. Very slick!
Its a really cool movie actually, I wasnt a big
fan of the first movie which I thought was sorta
boring from time to time, but the sequel on the
other hand is completely the opposite. Theres
action and loads of it, and good action! The entire
feel of the movie is very complete, during the
over 2 hour long movie there is not one second
where you loose focus. So good entertaining movie,
and there are even some unforseen surprises so
it isnt just all by the book.
Oh yah, im gonna buy Zelda: The Wind Waker tomorrow!
:D!
April 29th, 2003 - Fighting sand with.....tanks?
Ive been playing alot of Desert Combat,
the Gulf War mod for Battlefield 1942. Its really
awesome, the thing that probably is best about
Desert Combat is that the tempo of the game is
alot faster than the temp of BF1942. What i mean
is that tanks and planes are ALOT faster, which
makes it alot more fun. And theres also helicopters!
Another good thing is that you can actually use
your weapons for something now. In BF1942 they
were really shitty, so you were kinda dependant
on getting a tank, but here its also fun to be
infantry. Of course the entire theme with M4A1's
and T72's is also fucking kickass, so dl it now
if you got BF1942 and a working cdkey (since its
no good in singleplayer). Check
the site here
Oh, by the way, my bro Iceduck has gotten
his drivers license (at last!) KUDOS 2 HIM!
April 25th, 2003 - Hai thar!
Omai, I checked out that Phone Booth
movie (actually its the second time ive seen it,
but i saw it a second time wiff Iceduck), cool
movie. Its pretty cool that it can keep the intensity
throughout the entire movie, considering that
it takes place the same place the entire movie.
Good flick ;D
Oh yah, check
out this ad, BST FCKN EVR!
April 23rd, 2003 - Half-Life 2ness!
If you havent already seen it, articles
and pics of Half-Life 2 are out, Ive uploaded
the pics and have made a little page here with
it.
You can check it here
Oh yah, skewl started yesterday (sucks) and I
just saw the 20th episode of 24, bst evr!
April 21st, 2003 - Specialized!
Ive been playing quite a bit of "The
Specialists". Its a pretty kickass HL mod
where you can flipflop around with Akimbo weapons
and go berserk! Theres a cool slowdown effect
too, all Max Payney :D!
You
can check it here
April 20th, 2003 - HAPPY BURFDAY!!!
In order to honor my good mate rds birthday
(which is today), i made a map dedicated to this
special day! You
can download it here, and here are some
pics
1,
2,
3,
4
(it should be noted that the pics dont really
capture the idea of the map, all the wall are
moving incredibly fast, and you get all dizzy,
you have to check it out!)
Happy birthday buddy ;)
