Making breakable glass - by Mazy

Heidiho! You want some lovely breakable glass? No? Well, you're getting it anyway!

First thing, we need the brush that is going to be the glass. Make the brush (96w 4l 64h) and the texture "GLASSBLUE1" it will look pretty much like this:

Now we need to make it an entity. Select the brush and Ctrl-T it. Now select func_breakable from the dropdown list. Now you need to set the options for the glass:

Render mode: Texture
FX Amount: 100
Material type: Glass


And now you got your glass.

Note: The FX Amount is how transparent the glass is, so it's really up to you. Remember to select a number between 0-255.
